Had a lovely time on Friday when Steve Courtright and his wife Karen were in town and were nice enough to come by my shop. My wife Ela and I had a great time with them and definitely made some new friends. Really nice people! Steve and Karen are on the right. Please give me a call if you are passing through NYC
Here is a photo.

Very cool guys.

I like seeing OLFer's getting together.

We had a great time with Evan and Ela and got lots of tips regarding finishes and set up technique. I got to play Evans personal electric guitar and I can say that it was the best set up guitar I have ever played. Not too low but perfectly easy to do anything. I highly recommend that you ask Evan to do your repair and set up work if you can swing it. He is a pro amongst pros.

Mostly though, it was great to meet you both and get to know you! Thank you for being such gracious hosts on such short notice. Happy New Year!

Okay, Evan, you gave each of them a caption at the bottom of the photo, so where's yours?

Evan, I haven't been able to find a time to get to the city yet, but I will keep working on it. I'll be in touch.
